Bruising

Has anyone noticed that they bruise easier with this woe? I am finding random bruises all the time now. I imagine they are from dogs (I have three crazy BT's) but I never used to bruise so easy from the claws. Granted, this could be from meds or my general state of questionable health, and I plan on mentioning it to my Dr. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

There was somebody in the keto group who mentioned it. It could be a Vitamin C deficiency, but I imagine there are many other possibilities too.

I usually start to bruise easily when my VIT C intake is low. I take a vit c pill or try and eat more fruit and it goes away (always been this way as long as I can remember) I started this WOE March 1st. I started bruising about a month in, took VIT C (1000mg/day) for about 4 or 5 days and it stopped. Then I noticed some bruises again last week. I haven't taken any supplements as I'm doing the meativore may challenge and I want to see if they'll stop. If they continue and/or continue to get worse I'll just take the Vit C for now. Don't want people to start to think that my 4th degree black belt MMA BF is doing me wrong!!

I hadn't noticed until now - but I think I'm bruising less. I'm used to being covered in the things (I've always bruised easily) - but I haven't noticed any in the last few weeks. Or, maybe low carb eating has made me less clumsy :)

Yup. I go through spurts. Good to know it is vitamin C and not potassium.

I do have a couple bruises at the moment, but they're not from nothing. I've been banging my knee into everything lately. Of course, since I have a cute new dress to wear that's above the knee for Saturday.
