I want to say "thank you" to all the members of this group. About 3 years ago I followed Atkins, went from 206 to 167 in about 6 months and felt great, healthy, & confident. Sprinkle in some life/job/relationship issues and I started eating for budget & convenience and gained back all the weight and then some...along with a not so healthy dose of depression. I've tried a few times to get back to low carb, but there was a mental block and I just couldn't commit.

Now after some more impactful life events, I am 100% committed to making my health a priority. It just feels so different and natural this time and I really want to make this a life long way of eating. I eat much more 'whole' now...more daily veggies than I ever have before.

Anyway, I've derailed a bit (I'm prone to babbling). I think part of what makes this time so much more organic is having this group. Tracking everything makes me stay accountable and on track. But being able to discuss and springboard things off of supporting people like yourselves is awesome. It's only been a week and a half, but coming here to chime in on a post or read through old ones for insight and inspiration has been great and a tool I plan to continue using. So thank you!!!

    I agree regarding how helpful this group is! I feel more accountability than ever before, and all the information being shared here, tips/tricks, recipes, successes, challenges, and so forth are great!
