tummy tuck alternative looool help

I am 29 and about 24 bmi so not too bad but my waist after my fourth child has expanded and i would love it to reduce and not still look pregnant .
Ive gone up from size uk10 to 12 .
Im starting again as i wish to have a better hip to waist ratio and a lower body fat im waaay over the average ..40percent . To look at me you would never say i was fat but just a tummy :-( really gets me down.

Everyone keeps telling me i look great for having four kids but its causing me problems with clothes and i feel like im doomed to stay unhappy .

Any help and tips to get rid would be great
Ive started zumba and pilates but thinking some sort of weight lifting may help but dont know how to go about it.
I have to do everything at home due to childcare.

    Hiya!
Is there any chance that you have diastasis recti? It's when your abs separate and it can case the "mummy tummy" that is really hard to get rid of. If you haven't checked for it, start there. You can google how to check. If you have it, you can close it with the right exercises but things like crunches won't work. Let me know!

Have you seen this link? http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1161603/so-you-want-a-nice-stomach . The woman who created that thread is a mom and also created another thread that tells a little bit of her story and shows some before & afters http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/971636/my-story-of-sweet-revenge-pics/p1

Also, here's the link to the women's Stronglifts group on MFP in case you'd be interested in trying it out as a beginner lifting program. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/4601-stronglifts-5x5-for-women

I had this after second baby - I ended up going to physio which helped SO MUCH! Now it's almost back to normal but I was crunching and core-ing like mad and it just made it worse till I went and learned all the "inside" exercises. Good luck! Keep going at it. I remember being so down about it but now, so much better! I'm always gonna have a deflated balloon effect on the skin but they're my battle scars - 2 gorgeous kids to show for it :)
