Hey team,

I have my second dietitian appointment tomorrow morning. I'm hoping desperately that with this appointment I get the green light to meet with the surgeon and request insurance approval.

I feel worse and worse everyday.

    Good luck. I know how hard the waiting is. Be patient and know that the time you spend between appointments is a great time to learn more of what you need to know. I had a six month waiting time between first appointments and my surgery (this past week). I am still consulting my books and notes since there is a lot to learn and practice too so that we are ready to actually do what is required. Allow this time to be done properly so you won't panic about it later.

    I had to do 6 monthly dietitian visits before I got insurance approval. It is why I didn't have surgery years ago and now I wish I would have stuck with it then.....all that wasted time.
