Variation of C25K Program

I have my first 5k scheduled this Saturday & have only made it to week 4 of C25K. At first I really struggled with it, so I decided to approach it a little differently. Yesterday I wanted to push myself so I sort of made up a variation of week 4 but added some extra to try to get more prepared! Prior to this I never made the full 5 min. jog, so I was very proud! Usually my distance is way less on the treadmill but I was aiming for 2.5 miles.
I feel a little more prepared, but I know I won't be fast for the actual 5k, especially since there are obstacles & mud involved.
5 min. warm up
2 min. jog
2 min. walk
3 min. jog
3 min. walk
5 min. jog
3 min. walk
3 min. jog
2 min. walk
2 min. jog
8 min. cool down/walk (odd number, I know)
Time: 38 min. Distance: 2.3 miles

Anyone else try any variations of C25K that you want to share? I hope to do this again tomorrow & make a little more distance. Thanks for all the continued support here :)
