I bought some sugar free instant pudding for the first couple days after surgery. The box says to mix it with non-fat milk. The carb count is 6g per serving. What if I mix it with HWC? Would that lower the carb count? What do you think about it in general? Thank you. Love you guys!!!!

I think the 6g carbs is the amount per serving in the dry mix alone with no milk added. I'm not 100% positive but I'm fairly certain.0

We don't use that kind of product at my house. We make sugar free pudding with coconut milk and a bit of xylitol, egg yolks to thicken....or sometimes chia seeds with almond milk to make pudding. We don't want the carbs in regular milk.0

If you're in the US, it should have a listing for Mix or Prepared... If you use heavy cream, you might need to cut it as it might be too thick... But if there isn't a list for both columns (mine have this), somewhere in the nutritional data it should tell you. For me, the thickeners they use aren't worth the carb hit...
I like @Kitnthecat's suggestion above...0 -

This weekend I bought some sugar free/ fat free pudding mix and used almond milk instead of regular milk. I believe there are 2g carbs in the almond milk. If you use two cups of milk, like the box calls for it does not get thick enough. I used about a 1.5 cups instead and it was just right.0

I make it with Heavy Whipping Cream all the time. I love it, it makes like a thick mousse texture and I don't need a lot to be satisfied. For me it ends up being about 11 carbs total per serving. I am not aiming for Keto though currently, so that could be high if you are.0
