Hello all! I've been doing IIFYM for the last 4-5 months (on a calorie deficit) and using free weights for the last month and a half. I have been doing the beginner workout here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/building-the-perfect-body-at-home.htm
I've seen great results and I'm finally in a comfortable place, weight wise. I could probably afford to lose a tad more (10 more lbs?), but I feel good where I'm at.
I was really hoping to capitalize on "newbie gains". I've been seriously considering switching to maintenance macros and focusing on the strength training. I guess I'm just feeling unsure of myself and I was hoping you fine ladies could chime in with your experience on recomp and/or taking full advantage of newbie gains. Any recommendations?

It's taken since Jan to find a calorie deficit that works for me, so not at this point yet, but interested in your replies...0
