Eating iPhone walking calories?

Do you eat your iPhone walking calories?
I have my setting as 'sedentary' and generally eat around three quarters of my walking calories.
For instance, I walked more than 2 hours today to earn a few extras as we planned to cook something fancy for dinner. So I am supposed to eat 1200 calories, I walked off 700 more (supposedly!) and I ended up eating 1750.
What's everyone's opinion on the effect on my weight loss. I happen to feel that eating low carb allows a little flexibility on calories anyway, as I generally eat along the pattern of the Whole 30 which doesn't advocate calorie counting. But I do have the odd bit of dairy or occasional choc so I do keep in check with the cals and never go over 1200+walking cals.
Please advise!

Typically I don't, I'm set as active and some days I go over my cals, but that's ok as I probably should eat them anyway.0

Thanks that's interesting. I just checked what my 'active' calories would be and it was 1520 which is about what I eat on a day when I walk more than 10,000 steps and eat back the calories - so I feel like it's the same thing really, whether I eat them or just choose 'active' as default.
If I struggle to lose the later pounds I will just cut them out I suppose.
