Silly bodymedia "fit coach"

I think I'm going to turn my nagging "fit coach" off, but I found this funny today. I've been using the BMF for 33 days and losing ilke 1-1.5 lb a week despite having a deficit that "ought" to have had a little bit more loss. Wasn't worried about it though. Last 10 days no weight has been lost, just up and back down 2 lbs. Today all of a sudden, I'm down 3.5 lbs from my previous low. BMF "fit coach" says:
"Nice job with the weight loss. You tend to consistently lose weight, but at a rate slower than your goal. At your current rate of 1.99 lbs/week, you should hit your goal weight on Thursday, May 15, 2014. This is 6 days later than your goal date. If you want to get to your goal weight earlier, try and stick to your daily targets. This will help you achieve your target weight loss rate of 2 lbs/week. Good luck!"
OMG only 1.99 instead of 2.0. I am a failure :laugh: :laugh: Actually now that I started using the spreadsheet, and the IPOARM, I need to change my target in the BMF to 1.5lbs a week. Still I thought this was funny.

That is funny. It says some weird stuff to me too. I have it on because I think maybe one day it will have such a gem it will all be worth it!
Your post really encouraged me because I have been stuck at the same weight for two weeks and knowing that one day I could get up and see a 3.5lb loss gives me hope!0 -
Yeah - I saw a similar message lately. I too am thinking of turning them all off since right now, losing 14 lbs since January is a huge improvement over the 2 year issue of lose 10, gain 10 yo-yo I was on. Its a numbers game anyways. This is about my over all health, not weight lost for weight lost sake. I have other mile markers that would make me happier to achieve than reaching my goal weight.0

Yeah hang in there. I seem to often lose like this. Nothing for a couple weeks then a few lbs. The fit coach must be looking at a very"recent average" to even say I am averaging 1.99 lbs a week since 8 lbs in 33 days is more like 1.6 lbs a week. I hadn't done anything different the last few days, same eating, same routine walking etc. If we keep on track the weight will fall.0 -

I'm glad its working for you, that is great. I love your attitude too, its something I'm working on myself. I want to be fitter so I can more enjoy the things I want to be able to do.0 -

mine said I would be 10 days longer to reach my goal on monday,then on Thursday, it announced ,I'm doing awesome and will reach my goal 26 days earlier than expected! Whatever as long as I reach it .
I am having a problem this week with my activity not logging in the morning, I'm wondering if that can maybe be from changing my excrsice to the afternooncould be causing it ti register 0 activity till noon. Has anyone had this problem, I did my workout this morning like I usally do and for the first time since tuesday it is showing my morning activity.0 -
