calorie advice

So I'm not following the insanity meal plan as I'm wayyy to picky of an eater to follow any sort of meal guide.

In the first month of insanity I dropped 12 pounds which I was super excited about (eating between 1300-1500 calories a day. Now in month two I'm a week in and haven't lost anything, could it be I'm eating enough? I calculated what I should be eating based on elite nutrition guide and it said I should be eating almost 2200calories. This seems extremely high.

I also check on iifym which is what originally gave me the 1500 calories and it says I should be eating 1900 calories a day. This also seems like a lot, I'm fearful that upping my calories will lead to gaining back what I've lost so far. But I also know that not eating enough can be very damaging to your body.

Any advice?

    I'm by far not an expert of this sort of thing. Based on my experiences here on most threads asking for advice is like throwing yourself into a pack of hungry wolves. People suck & they'll say mean things just to mess with you. When I asked a similar question, most people were saying I eat too much & I was overweight for a reason, or I wasn't counting my calories correctly ... rude *kitten*.
    My advice is look over on a forum called "Eat More To Weigh Less" (EM2WL.) They cover some pretty good points. Not everyone believes you need to add more calories when working out, but I do. It doesn't have to be a major amount.
    I have a similar problem. Mine is ... I don't eat enough. Period. I'm typically not hungry & I sometimes have to make myself eat. Since I've started working out, I've been experimenting with smoothies. Adding additional calories that way has helped a lot! Not to mention, they're pretty tasty! I hope I helped point you in the right direction :) Let me know what you find out!

    Thank you @sweetaddiction257 I believe that we're all here for a reason ... we're trying to take the right steps to become healthy & do what works best for us. I think we are on the right path. :)
