I'm starting Insanity again tomorrow. I did a full round about 4 years ago and was in the best shape of my life. A knee injury, shoulder injury, and overall laziness and gluttony have brought me to the worst shape of my life. I thought about losing 10-15 pounds first and then starting. But the simple truth is, as hard as…
I have to admit, right now I'm pretty proud of myself! I realize at this moment I could be completely finished with the Insanity program but I took two weeks off to recover from being sick. Instead of giving up & not continuing, I started recovery week over just to get back into it. I felt weak, I even felt a little light…
Where have you seen a change in your body so far since starting Insanity? I can definitely see a change in my arms, waistline, upper legs my trapezius muscles. I can feel my abs becoming stronger, but that pesky baby fat layer is hiding them, lol.
I heard or read something where Shawn T said to take two weeks off between rounds? Anyone else ever hear of that? I was thinking of doing that but doing the weight training dvd 2-3 times a week, since I still have issues doing push ups. This is my last week, I'm really excited
I caught the lovely stomach virus my children had and have been out of commission for a week. Today I'm pretending like last week didn't happen and starting week 2 day 1. Wish me luck
Has anyone considered what program to do after Insanity is over? I wanted to get a personal trainer so I could get into weight lifting with proper form. I was going to do that and incorporate some Insanity month 2 workouts as well. But now I'm considering doing Crossfit. I feel now that my body is in the best shape ever…
So I'm halfway through month two week three and gotta say I'm starting to feel burnt out. Yesterday I didn't have the energy or strength to workout (probably due to the combination of the fit test and max interval circuit the day before) but I powered through anyways and finished the workout. My results for the fit test…
So I'm not following the insanity meal plan as I'm wayyy to picky of an eater to follow any sort of meal guide. In the first month of insanity I dropped 12 pounds which I was super excited about (eating between 1300-1500 calories a day. Now in month two I'm a week in and haven't lost anything, could it be I'm eating…
Figured I'd take a minute to say hello! I'm janine a mom of 2 (6 & 4 years old) I work full time and am overall quite busy. I've got an amazing husband who loves and supports me no matter what. At my best I was down just under 150, worst was closer to 180. Today I'm 170 and feeling really negative about my self image. I…
Wow! I just completed day 36 - month 2, day 1. Boyyyyyyy that was so crazy tough but I did it! It was tough because it had the fit test as well, so a total of 85 minutes - a huge step up from month 1. I'm hoping I didn't injure myself and I hope I don't get discouraged tomorrow. I'm trying to focus on 1 day at a time.…
