I have an active (and currently sick/cranky) 11 month old and have such a hard time eating healthy. I craaaaave comfort food, warm and filling. Exactly what low calorie food ain't. Any tips or tricks?

I try to go for something with similar flavor, but more filling and/or less caloric. Mac and cheese craving? Throw an edamame steam bag in the microwave, or scramble some eggs with cheese. It doesn't kill the carb craving in me, but it'll work for warm and salty.

Just finding similar alternative foods. If I want ice cream I'll get fat free frozen yogurt (the PET brand is awesome and is 100 calories a serving) or ahead of time I'll freeze a yoplait 100 greek yogurt (the strawberry cheesecake whip one tastes like dessert even when it's not frozen. If I want chips I'll eat sensible portions brand veggie straws they're still salty and whatnot but not as bad for you as chips (38 straws for 139 calories).
