Counting the days before surgery (27th)

So the count down begins and I am both excited, and nervous. I am having the RNY. Less than 10 days away and I did all my pre-op shopping. I know I couldn't be more prepared, but yet I still think I am forgetting to do something, and I have that "what if something goes wrong" feeling. It is helpful to see those who have passed this point and say they have no regrets. This woman is ready to enter the new stage of her years. I pray all is successful.

I know for two weeks before my surgery, I was super nervous and excited, I think it's totally normal. It's also normal to have that "what if something goes wrong" feeling. As far as that, I knew that for me, personally, something would go wrong if I DIDN'T have the surgery, it was just a matter of time. I am so happy I made the decision to have surgery, and I would do it all over again in a hearbeat. Life is SO much better for me now, in every way!

Just trust in the plan, it'll all fall into place and before you know it you'll be in post-op and on the loser's bench!

Good luck. Follow your plan, to the letter, and you'll do fine.
