I finished C25K. Now what?

Obviously I want to continue running and improving. To be honest, I'm not aspiring to running a marathon or anything, but a 10K wouldn't be out of the question. Should I move right into that training program, or work on increasing my speed and work in some interval training with the 30 mintue runs? What's this business about a "long run" people do once a week? I like to do at least four days of circuit / strength training, so I can't be extremely ambitious about my running, but as I said, I would like to make some progress.

I run three days a week and might move to four later this year as I add miles. However, running is my love right now.

I would move right into a training program, whether it's one of the 10k apps, a Runner's World SmartCoach plan or one of the thousands of free plans that exist in books, the internet, running stores, etc. Many people need a set plan and goal (for instance, a race) to maintain a commitment to running.
