Hi There,
I've been lurking around here for about a week or so, figure it's about time I introduce myself.
I'm doing a LCHF WOE, started about 2 months ago. I've been diagnosed as pre-diabetic, have PCOS, IR, metabolic syndrome, and an underactive thyroid. Experience with many diets over the year have proven to me that LC is the best WOE for me, and after recently adding a diagnosis of Osteoarthritis in my knee, I decided it was time to go back to LC and get my weight down so I can get back to enjoying the things I like to do, without pain.
Looking for friends to keep motivated - I have always found that talking about my weight loss efforts with others, encouraging them and receiving encouragement in return makes it easier to stay on plan, so here I am! I hope to get to know you all

Hi Mel, feel free to add me. I have Hashimoto's (so go both hypo & hyper in cycles), struggled with PCOS for years, osteoarthritis, & recently diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. (I know sound like a wreck, hey?) I've only been doing LCHF for 30 odd days but have been feeling much better. Unfortunately today wasn't great - migraine, then Hashi's crash, then colitis bout. But I'm already feeling much better, whereas before would've taken several days in bed to recover so obviously something about this woe is working.0

Welcome Mel! I'm sending you a friend request! I'm almost three months into this woe. Started originally for weight loss then began to see physical improvements (I have fibromyalgia) that have made weight loss a secondary goal at this point. Good luck!0

Welcome, feel free to add me too. I have hypothyroidism, bilateral vestibular hypofunction and suffer from allergies. I also have heart disease and cancer running in both sides of my family, but I am aiming to beat them all.0
