    A lovely picture @zcb94 :)

I went to the gym yesterday but today won't get any exercise in because I'm off to stay with the boyfriend's family for the weekend. This was why I wanted to bank a few extra calories for the weekend, seeing as I can't control what I eat and there was mention of a barbecue. Might at least try to drag the bf out for a walk later as some form of exercise.

Overall though, despite injury, I'm doing loads better than I thought I would be nearly half way through June! I'm happy :)

6/13-simply avoid losing my mind as I practically waste so much time in bed.

Neither fail nor success. I am about to crack from boredom but it didn't happen today, yaay!

Zcb94: Beautiful picture of the rainbow!

Friday I got pretty close to my 5,000 step goal and did not snack between meals or after 9 pm.
Saturday the snacking was a bit harder to control but overall didn't do too bad. Only around 3,000 steps Saturday...sorta surprised me. Usually Saturday step counts are higher.

The next few days will be crucial...it is normally about this many days in when I start getting lackadaisical about my goals.

I managed a run again today, yay! Didn't get any exercise in yesterday courtesy of staying with the inlaws but, injury considered, I'm ok with that. Hopefully back to it this week, although will ease off the running and hit the gym or the pool instead :)

This is a bit late, but I really want to put these goal in mind:
    1) stop eating late at night.
    2) drink a shake every morning (I tend to skip breakfast)
    3) work out at least 3 or 4 times a week!

I hope you guys are all getting towards your goals!

Good goals! #1 is a toughie and a goal I am working on as well by not eating after 9 pm. I, also, used to be a non-breakfast eater and it was a long process to becoming a breakfast eater. I still don't like a heavy, big breakfast but now I wouldn't feel very good if I didn't at least eat something small in the morning. So there is hope! :-)

Still trudging away on my goals. Didn't do very good yesterday on my 5,000 steps goal but was pretty close today!!

The urge to snack was definitely alive and well but although I may have had one or two extra snacks, they were portion controlled and not a free for all. Pushed the 9 pm deadline pretty close tonight but at least resisted the urge to go back for seconds.

Everyone is doing really well so far! We are over half way through now, keep it up!

I did a bit of weight training last night, so I'm getting back to my goal of exercising daily. Will be tough to fit one in today but I will try to go for a 1-2 mile run when I get home late tonight.

As for my weight, it's staying the same but my clothes are getting looser, which means I'm toning. Yay! :)

Why do I keep forgetting to check in? :ohwell: Anyway, it's going well so far. I borrowed (well, Mom gathered) and am reading a ton of Christian motivational stuff from my local library, so that helps by leaps and bounds!

Great, now I forgot to set a goal! I woke up wanting to try to drink more again, and I did! Gotta flush out those nasty toxins to heal, right? I burned thru 2 sport bottles of home-brewed raspberry tea blend, so good and fantastic for you!

    Tuesday - June 16
    Steps - around 3,000
Snacking between planned meals - a little bit before supper :(
Snacking after 9 pm - the urge was strong but I resisted. :)
I "unofficially" weighed in this morning (my weekly weigh in is on Saturday or Sunday); I have lost about 2 pounds in the last week and a half!! :)

Good morning! Today, I absolutely must stay under my calorie limit, instead of going way over like I have been since I can't do much exercise right now.

Ok, this isn't working! I just ate dinner, and am way over, like 846 out of 800 cals (Please don't judge or push me away. Genuine Dr.'s orders). Now I lie here wondering how long I must dance to get a deficit. All input/supportive commentary is appreciated. I will try to keep my head up till bedtime, and check in either then or tomorrow. TIA!

Ok, yesterday was a major flop. Today, I just want to keep a cool head for my doctor's appointment later.

Mission accomplished, and I got great news in the process. I am literally centimeters away from healing that will take hold if I'm very careful. Thank You Lord!

Oh man, I never posted a goal! I guess I should get thru an at-home appointment, but play it by ear otherwise.

Welp, I needed a wound dressing change but nurse got stressed and cancelled, poor girl! I guess I can always save this goal for tomorrow.
ETA: Where is everybody? Am I suddenly alone in my pursuit of a better me? Is this convo dead?

6/20-I'm finally up (could hardly sleep last night) and ready to get thru home wound care today. I sure hope she keeps her promise this time, although she was scheduled for 12:45. This doesn't look good!

Home wound care did make it, and went well. I am so close to the end of this messy ride!

6/21-I actually have 3 goals this AM, not necessarily in this order:
    1. Text a Fathers' Day shout-out to the men in my life.
    2. Celebrate with Dad.
    3. Once I know that he's happy, get alone with Abba, in reflection of His goodness.

Everyone is getting on well I see! @zcb94, that's fantastic news about your recovery, you must be thrilled!

I've been doing pretty well with my goals, my weight is pretty much holding out (although I have dropped 1lb but I won't lose sleep over that!) and I have gotten back to exercising every day. Feeling the burn today though, so tomorrow I will go for a gentle swim or walk and nothing else. I'm feeling good again

I did all of that, and we had a great day! Today, I definitely need to drink more.

Done! Today, I probably ought to start trying to learn something new, to avoid having my brain turn to mush while I lie here.
