What would you eat here?

My fiancé has booked the nicest restaurant in town for our anniversary meal on Sunday. What would you have from this menu? I am thinking seafood salad starter and meat or fish (I think they have lots of specials too) with extra veg and hold the starches. Any thoughts from wiser minds than mine?
I think I will treat myself to some red wine but no dessert. No doubt he will order the bottle but I'll try not to drink too much! Or insist on having champagne by the glass ;-)

Roast cod, spring vegetables and aioli0

I wanted to be helpful, but I don't even know what half of those menu items are.....0

I had to look up aioli, and it looks LCHF to me.0

Yes I think the cod and aioli looks a great bet. Octopus and lettuce would be a nice starter too. Eating LCHF at fancy places is so much easier than at cheap joints!0

the octopus sounds great0

I'm just crying over the prices.
The next restaurant we're going to, just your avg "Just above family, but not quite fine dining" type place, has chicken wings ... $22 for 10. Not even a hole dozen. 10.0 -
I would go for lamb and veggies, kill the rest0

Slow cooked lamb shoulder for four to five to share

Either meat or fish.....my first choice would be the cod, but all the people above me want that, so they might run out.... Just choose a protein and avoid starch and you will be fine.0

My thoughts exactly!
The Cod, the Octopus, and the Lamb. But you may want to ask to verify things aren't braised in flour, etc. EVERY time I have eaten out on this WOE I have grossly underestimated restaurants' love of sneaking in carbs.
Oh, and you said it was Sunday. Take a look at that menu, too, just in case that's lunch AND dinner for that day of the week.
Enjoy your dinner!0 -
Good point! I expect the cod is less likely to be in flour. I will budget some extra calories for Sunday in any case. Thanks for the advice!0

You can probably asked for it to be broiled in butter, no breading. Just about everywhere should accommodate special requests.
Well, I say that, but some places are difficult. We went to a place the other day, the man ordered a hamburger. Of course the dish includes fries, and he asked to substitute with Broccoli. They said it was an extra charge for the vegetable side dish. $3. Like what? It costs $3 more for .25 cents of broccoli and they are keeping their fries? He ended up telling them to keep the broccoli and bring the fries and somebody else with us ate the fries.0 -
Rib of beef would be my choice.0
