bulking protein & fat intake question

Options
I weigh 140 pounds and I'm currently bulking. I have no problem at all meeting my protein and fat goals. . For protein I'm aiming for 1g per pound of body weight and for fat I'm aiming for .4g per poung of body weight (56 g) per day, with the rest mostly carbs. My question is, will I hurt my gains by going much over these requirements? I'm finding it difficult to eat 400+ grams of carbs without eating too much junk like sugary cereals and poptarts (which I love, BTW). I'd prefer to have yogurt and peanut butter.

    No, it won't hurt.

But personally, I'd go for the cereal and pop tarts.

I disagree. Ice cream and pop tarts are better!

    Ice cream = dairy

"Overall, RE and milk/dairy consumption positively impact body composition in women by promoting losses in fat, gains or maintenance of lean mass and preservation of bone."

    Bring it.....

    Girls?

    Back atcha:

    http://jn.nutrition.org/content/141/9/1626.long

These data provide evidence for the promotion of low-fat dairy food consumption not only to ensure adequate calcium intakes in populations previously deficient (52–54), but to promote the provision of high-quality protein that can aid in fat loss and lean mass retention during energy restriction.

Make it full fat when bulking.....

But cereal HAS milk in it. You're getting both when you eat it.

ETA: I have been known to put cereal in my ice cream too. Is that even better than steroids and creatine?
