Ammonia in nose

I posted this in the lc group too, it's been going on for a few weeks now and I get a huge whiff of ammonia in my nose. Went to the dr yesterday and she wasn't familiar with this but suspects maybe a sinus infection even though I'm not really congested.
Everything I've read on keto says a smell in the breath but I don't have that and I didn't have this smell when I first entered keto about 5 weeks ago. Could this be a sign of keto or is it more likely an infection? Has anyone else ever had this?
