Tweaking my macros

I've been looking back over my macros and while I'm pretty good at keeping my carbs in the 50g range, I'm not so great at keeping the fat up and the protein down. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty great, but I'm always looking to do better.

Part of the problem is my brain doesn't see a stick of butter as being as satiating as a strip of bacon. I wonder if I should do a BPC once a day (lunch?) and see how that goes? Given the choice between two pieces of bacon on my dinner or butter on my veggies I always go for the bacon!

Anyone else found this and what did they do?

My macros are 50g carb, 100g protein and 95g fat.

    I find that adding butter to my foods makes it yummy and I get enough fat to keep me satisfied, for hours! I would go for the bacon if given the choice but, adding butter to some hot scrambled eggs , yes! Plus, adding some hwc to the scrambled eggs when cooking is a good way to add some fat too!

    I don't know, coffee+hwc+two strips of bacon buys me hours more time than a BPC, or even two BPCs, and I'm beginning to suspect it's the salt in the bacon. I get similar results if I have a coffee+HWC and a cup of broth+butter. Fat and calorie wise, the BPCs win out in both cases, but the other two combos give me way more staying power. I'm still trying to figure this one out.

    I need to try upping the fat. Things are going really well but keen to improve. Will have butter on my veggies tonight and see!

    I use a good amount of mayo to keep my fat high. If I'm eating a burger I use regular mayo or chipotle mayo. I eat at least one salad a day and I use my homemade ranch dressing. Cheese also helps me get my fat up. My fat is typically around 70%. Honestly the only time I use butter is in my One Minute Muffin and I put some on it as well.

    Bacon is almost equal in fat and protein --- you've gotta be skewing higher than you want on protein vs. fat in other areas of your diet?

    What about avocados? I'm not fond of butter, but do 2 tbsp in my BPC every morning. It keeps me going for about 5 hrs (7:00am-12:00 or 1:00).

    Try dipping you veggies in a bowl of melted butter. I've found that to be more enticing than melting a pat of butter on top.
