If it didn’t live in its current form (meat, fish, vegetables, fruit), don’t eat it. The only exception I have is cheese and yogurt.

This, except I eat cheese and butter, and I've gone for long periods without those, too. Unfortunately I've been known to go off the rails and believe quite strongly that cake trees, ice cream springs, and cookies that walk on four legs exist and are meant to be eaten!

i am learning to be a mindful flexitarian. meaning, i pay attention to what i am eating, when and why. and i am loosely following the flexitarian eating plan (mostly vegetarian with occassional beef and such).
