There are some good scripts that make it more Keto-tracking friendly... Tracking net carbs, etc... They should be under "look I did this" titles of posts or "scripts"

Below is the letter I wrote my friend who wants to try my diet. He is a retired engineer that helps people in our church with many issues of life. One of his specialties is helping people do budgets, saving and getting out of debt. So I had to add that in to my letter (along with the engineering)

    XXXX,

As per our discussion yesterday about low carb. I have
given it a lot of thought. Below are my recommendations
for you. These are the steps to Phase 1:

    1) Download the free MyFitnessPal (MFP) app onto your phone.
(it has to be on your phone).
    2) Go to their website on your desktop computer and log in
there and see how it works (this step is not mandatory,
    but helpful.)
    3) Learn how to use it. It is not difficult. I can teach you
how to do it ~ maybe after church (lunch?)
    4) Use the app religiously for a minimum of two weeks.
Do NOT change your current way of eating/diet in any way.
    5) If you can’t master the MFP app, there is no use going any
further. A low carb diet is for technical/engineer types that
like to analyze/graph/experiment. This is why I love it so
much. Not everyone is so technical and can’t bother with
logging meals. Another analogy is, MFP/Lo-carb/dieting/logging
is like doing a budget or doing accounting. Not everyone can
do it or have the desire to do it. Most people couldn’t care
less where every penny they spend goes. Such is lo-carb
dieting, as in budgeting, you HAVE TO account for every
carbohydrate you eat or the diet will be an epic failure.
    6) This is not a “casual” “willy nilly” way of eating. There will be
a learning curve at first, but after a few months of doing it,
you’ll be a pro at it. And you could possible not HAVE to log
anymore. Remember when we looked for houses to buy, and
at first we didn’t have a clue to as how much they were worth,
then after 3 months of looking at houses, we could state the
price before we asked and we were pretty close? Such is carb
counting. But it all starts with MFP and knowing how many
    carbs are in foods.

That’s my recommendation. I won’t query you in the future or bug you,
I can lead a horse to water, but I can’t make them drink. I am not going
to show you every detail about the MFP app.
(Can you say: “A Letter to Garcia?”)

If you perchance log for two weeks, correctly, then we can proceed to
Phase 2, the diet in general. We can include XXXX into the discussion,
because I realize that she will be making your meals. I will recommend a
certain digital scale to weigh some foods. Why? Because you eat so
many home prepared meals. If you could eat frozen or other packages/store
bought foods, it's easy to account for what you eat because they are
labeled/bar-coded and have the serving sizes on them. They take one
second to scan them into the MFP app. But, I’d rather have home cooked
meals, so a little more effort will be necessary (at first). I will also give
you a written list of foods you can and can’t eat. I will also include training
you on what to eat at restaurants. And many many other tips & tricks.

Until then, I don’t want to waste my time telling you all about it, because
if you can’t do MFP, then my hands will be tied, and I won’t be able to help
    you.

I hope this helps, no reply necessary, just do it…. : )

    Love ya,

    Dan
