Easing out of Lcd

Did 8 weeks of lchf, lost 27 lbs, and it was easy as can be. Did the 21 day fix exercises.

Now I am thinking of easing out of lc and going to maintaining and watching what I eat. Any suggestions on how to ease out of ketosis. Still may try and stay lower carb, say less than 100.

Thanks

Ketosis puts you into a "normal physiological" state of insulin resistance to ensure the brain gets the glucose it needs, so slowly crank up the carbs if you want. If it were me, I'd stay away from any known carb-based triggers of cravings.

If you find the old weight-gaining habits coming back, drop your carb level back down to where you know it was working for you.

How about something like south beach for the transition? It's slow carb...

I have learned how to maintain my weight on LCHF on a 90 day test. Now carbs make me feel very bad. One does not keep losing weight on LCHF eating at maintenance.

    Just a question

So why not up your calories to maintain levels and stay lower carb?

If you don't feel bad or think your diet is poor, why change?
