I just started the c25k and started having knee trouble. Found out I have arthritis in my knee. Does anyone run with arthritis in knee? Is this a bad decision?

It depends. Medically I do not know what sort of arthritis you have, the severity or the long term prospects for you. So any advice you get on here should be taken with a pinch of salt. You need to consult with your own medical advisor for real world prospects and outcome.

That said, I have osteoarthritis in both knees diagnosed 3 years ago when I had an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The advice was to lose weight, then 127+kgs c280lbs (type2 obese). I am currently at normal BMI (88kgs 195lbs) and running 30-50 miles a week with no pain. Is that the best thing to do? I don't know. Is it worse than sitting on a couch getting heavier? Probably not. Like everything in life there are compromises to be made and being happy and healthy is finding that balance for you. Hope you find a compromise that works for you. Best of luck on your journey.
