10lbs overnight?

I think its just water weight that im holding onto because I ate a lot of carrots yesterday at 9g/3oz. But I have never seen my scale jump that far before. How long does it take to drop the water weight from carb overload? Because now im at a weight that I was about a month ago, and I feel so dumb for eating all of those baby carrots yeaterday. This ever happen to anyone else? Im still very new to LCHF, so I didnt know it would have that big of an effect on me. Its just a number, and my smaller clothes still fit, so I know its not 'real weight', but I worked really hard to get to 208 just to go back to 218 in a single day

I'd say give it till the end of the week. It happens to me you. Just know if you are doing everything right then it's but real weight and is just a number on a scale. Try not to let that kind of stuff bother you.

That is a huge jump! You must feel quite upset. I'm sure it can fly back down again just as quickly. Keep at it.0

I looked at Jessika's diary and she ate 187 grams of carbs that day, 48 were carrots. That could explain it, but 10 lbs of water retention, that's a lot. I would suggest a water only fast, that weight would come off really quick.

How often do you weigh yourself? 10lbs is a significant difference but it's not fat if it just suddenly jumped that high. If you have been eating very low carb and suddenly went to the 187, I could totally picture a jump in weight. I had a carb heavy day today too and I'm sooo bloated! Just get back on your routine0

Yea, I had a lot of carbs that day. It was accidental. But honestly, if you look at my saturdays, they are always high carb. Normally wine, and I dont gain an ounce. Ah well, lesson learned! No biggie, dropped 5lbs of it already. It was just shocking.0
