Is there any connection between ketosis, burning fat for energy, and sleep disruption? Is it possible the metabolism has increased and causes insomnia due to an over activity?

Having trouble sleeping. Not exhausted during the day but really not sleeping more than 3 hours at a stretch.

I'm not sure. Personally I sleep very well but I have always found it easy to sleep.

Yes, apparently there is a connection. We've been discussing it on the cortisol thread: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10174148/cortisol/p1
Hope this helps, so join in the conversation!

I had sleep problems for the first 1-2 months, now it has improved a lot over the last month. Hang in there, your body won't deprive you of sleep forever!

I can't wait to try valerian (discussed on cortisol thread). My sleep patterns suck and people are saying a good night's sleep aids the weight loss.
