Turns out that FIT_Goat was right -- plants are trying to kill us! Most of the time, what fails to kill us makes us stronger, but not always...

    I love the mini-conclusion: "Plants are trying to kill you, so you should eat a variety of them and get a little of each type of poison and not too much of one type." :wink:

    Part of the premise of Paleo. Big agriculture and packaged foods are economically driven not nutrition based.
