IP on Vacation?

Hey y'all! So my family is going down to Florida for the whole month of July. Part of me is super excited because, hey, by that point I'll be about 25 pounds lighter and a lot more confident at the beach. But it just hit me that that's FOUR WEEKS away from my coach and I'm kind of freaking out about totally falling off this diet while I'm there!
Obviously I'll stock up on a month's worth of IP food for when I'm down there, but it's dinner that I'm worried about. How can I be sure to stay on track when my parents are constantly wanting to go out to restaurants that are...less than healthy? I want to enjoy family time and not feel like I'm depriving myself by just getting salad when we go out, but I also know that if I cheat once, it'll open up the door to LOTS more cheating over the course of the month. So how do you all stay on track while you're traveling?
Oh, and bonus question, what are some good IP snacks for at the beach? It seems like most of the wafers/bars will just turn into a melted chocolate mess...

A month at the beach sounds heavenly!!
In my experience most restaurants are getting used to accommodating special diets. Don't be afraid to ask for food to be cooked plain (without butter or sauce), substitute veggies or salad for sides you can't eat, etc.
When we went to the beach last year I took crisps out for my beach snack - not too messy, don't melt, and salty. Plus they are a higher-carb unrestricted.0
