I've made flourless chocolate cake in the past, it's always delicious, I used sugar then but there is no reason you couldn't use stevia or something else too sweeten.

I've made one very similar but with a lot of sugar in the past and it was AMAZING. This is already on my list for the next birthday I bake for.

I don't bake, don't really know how to, but it does look pretty tasty!

Flourless chocolate cake is always good (but has lots of carbs from sugar), I'll have to do some experiment with the sweetener quantity.

Some version of this is going to be my first real cheat, probably next month when I'll have a family reunion and be around lots of people that I rarely see. It will be the first time many will see me since I started LCHF 8 months ago and I'm 60lbs (~28kg) lighter (hopefully a couple more by then).

Looks good, but the recipe comes in at 12g carbs per serving. Too high for me. :-(

Yeah, definitely too high for some folks. Not too high for me, at least as a treat.

I made this yesterday for hubbys birthday today. Its HUGE! Lol. Guess its American sizings! Lol. Absolutely lovely and rich so you only need a sliver. I didnt do her frosting but made a ganache with 80% choc, erythritol, butter , cream and vanilla.
This is my new celebration cake! Lovely, lovely, lovely. Frozen the remains in slices for special treats!

This is the recipe I used for the frosting but I used erithrytol instead of splenda. Not such a good idea unless you whizz it to make a powder...tasted a bit grainy/crunchy. We cant buy the powder here in Dubai just the granules or use something else.

    That's 12 g and a serving is 1/15th of a cake. I'd rather spend those carbs on a quality milk chocolate. ;)

I have sat and worked out the nutritional data for the cake I made. I actually split the cake into 4 layers so made double the ganache amount. I DONT count erythritol as I have read many times it doesn't impact on blood sugar and these are net carbs.
    One cake=16 slices.
    Carbs 4.5. Fat 41.25. Protein 6.75 Cals. 338.

If you choose to just do 1 amount of ganache they are as follows.
    Carbs 4. Fat 32. Protein 6. Cals 252.

    Everybody welcome!
Question...why does MFP have to round everything??? The carbs for the doubled ganache are actually 4.5 but when I logged it they put it at 5!!! Sooo mean! Bet they dont round up calories etc! :/
