because you want something 'good' then walk around for an hour trying to find something that fits you WOE. Finally ending up at the grocery store :(

After years being carb driven it is exciting that even when I am hungry I can go without eating if what is handy is mainly carbs.

Feeling hungry is welcome at times. I like feeling some tiny bit of self control

But I keep beefy jerky, and mixed nuts handy too :)

I did that last week. I tried to walk to the grocery store on break. Rolled my ankle once but didn't bite pavement. Rolled it again a bit further down the road, scraped the crap out of my knee. Shook my hand at the sky (which was drizzling the whole time, mind you) and hollered, "Okay, I get it, I'm going back to the office." Stopped at Dollar General on the way back, couldn't find anything that sounded worth the headache so didn't get anything. Got back to the office drank some salt and water, and when home and ate half a pound of bacon with some eggs and was right as rain.

But more so today, this is the longest I've gone with my Tea as my only food so far without being super busy with errands to keep my distracted from food. I'm really thinking I'd like to do this more often.... I can't explain why, but I just FEEL better...

LOL, I can just see you @Knit, you paint a good picture. That's so cool when we can resist giving in to a snack. I felt hungry today, hours before I normally do, but did not eat until many hours later when I got home and cooked some meat for supper.

What absolutely kills me though is that I was heading to the grocery store so I could get real food and not junk at the DS... I felt that mind-numbing urge to eat something, and I wanted to go get something small and fatty so that I could move on without losing my sanity. But obviously, I really REALLY did not need to go to the store for some cosmic, undisclosed reason. SMH

I haven't gotten dizzy or super-clumsy like that in while, so honestly, I think I was sodium-deficient or something. I still don't know what it was, but bacon has become my cure-all medicine. Something's not feeling right? Eat some bacon. Sodium low? Eat some bacon. Feeling hungry? Eat some bacon. Want to make the man happy? Make enough bacon for 2. Leftover bacon? Breakfast - eat some bacon! Fever? Eat some bacon. Tummyache? Eat some bacon. ETC. :)

I try, but that day I was out for 12 hours. I can't go that long without eating. 7 hours is about my limit... I was clumsy like that today,. kept dropping things, and my usual glass of wine has made me VERY tipsy....
