Are you looking to bulk up? Or just focus on body composition? I'm going to throw a bunch of links at you that are written by some super smart people on My Fitness Pal. If you're looking to put on some muscle or just increase strength, check out New Rules of Lifting for Women or Stronglifts 5x5. The NROLFW book has some great information, but the program wasn't something I enjoyed. Stronglifts worked better for me.

I don't do MMA, but would like to at some point. I did Les Mills Combat and loved that so much that I'd like to dig a little deeper into that area of fitness.
Best of luck to you!0 -
