Losing my positivity!

So I'm really trying to keep my spirits up regarding my weight. last year's weight loss was spurred by my increased activity with my job (gardening part time) and a lowish calorie diet of 1800 or so. This year I've focused more on strength, but the diet has been sporadic. Now I'm back to my pre loss weight. The worst part is my sister is losing tons of weight by restricting her calories down to nothing. Jealous of her results, but I know it's the worst way to accomplish this. I am proud of my progress with weight training, but I'm needing more coaching in regards to exercise routine. Thanks for letting me vent!

    I only ask because you say proud of weight training, sporadic with diet, and comments on sister's weight loss.

    So it really seems from the comments the desire is weight/fat loss.

    Am I reading that right?

    Perhaps you think the exercise routine will help with that?
    It won't, not if diet is sporadic.
