Zac, LOVED your goals list. I started working on mine too.

Cari, good job getting your keto plan organized. I think lchfmp will suit you.

Norah, are you here? Diana? Dee? Bueller?

If you are lurking, jump in. We don't bite.

    Good morning, lovelies!

Still in bed here with cat at my feet and Jim at my side. He sets his alarm for 5 a.m., then promptly falls asleep again after shutting it off. In the meantime, I'm left wide awake but need more sleep.

I'm pretty excited about working on my goals list today! Will post some later.

Busy day ahead--if I can MOVE today, I need to declutter and clean. My sister is arriving on Sunday for a two week visit and bringing a friend with two boys, 15 and 10, so we will have a busy household. They are renting a nearby lake cottage to sleep in, which makes the visit 100 times easier, but we will still have all the pleasure of their company.

Hope everyone is well and motivated today!

Good day ladies and gents!! Hope everyone is doing well.

Nancy, need some help cleaning?? I've been depressed for about a month now. Today is the 1st morning I didn't feel like getting out of bed was a chore. Cleaning helps me feel better. I figure this weekend I am going to rearrange Reggie's Moms kitchen. I'm like Karen, I like to make list and cross stuff off. Makes me feel like I accomplished something.

Karen, I'll come up to Maine and help you declutter, I'm not that far from you. I'm just in little 'ole Delaware. I hope you have an excellent time with your sister, her friend and the 2 boys. Sounds like a blast.

Personally for me, I Feel good, not great, but better then I have felt over the past 3.5 weeks. I went to my therapist last night. She agreed that I'm probably not absorbing my meds correctly. I've started taking my anti-depressant 4 times a day and went back to taking D3 and B12. I also spent a good chunk of yesterday journalling at work. I journaled some goals, and ways to get there. Much more needs to be done on that front, but it is a start. Thank You ZAC for the idea. Today, I am going to try what Nancy does and set a time to stop eating. I'm going to say 8pm right now.

Oh, Cari, what a relief it must be to have the fog of depression lift finally. And yes, just hop on up here and you can swiffer the whole house. I'll put on some 50's music and we can sweat to the oldies.

Hey all...well, my sorting and cleaning went for about 7 hours!! Whew! I have a ton of cookbooks I am going to get rid of...hopefully sell at cheap prices!! Can't carry all that book weight home with me!! I am sitting here at the computer with 'Star Troopers' on TV...corny but entertaining!! (Wonder if they filmed most of it in AZ or New Mexico....desert and Red Rocks!)

I have decided I need to set some new goals since you guys were following Zac's lead...so will I. I was reading in the new book (Thinspired by Mara Schiavocampo) and how she drop 90 pounds in a year. One of her tips is to make a list of food that are a problem to you...foods you have no control over, foods that fill some emotional need. After giving these up for 40 days....she started her new eating plan, and she is now eating 'clean'.

So for me it is sugar, flour products to start with. So I am going to personally challenge myself with a list of things I can not eat...and stuff i can eat. I will eat fruits, veggies, animal protein (chicken, fish...no meat), some nuts, (may make that banana and almond butter 'ice cream' Karen), almond milk, and sugar substitutes. I think I can live with this plan. But tomorrow I am going to do some soul searching and try to also get an exercise plan together too! I need to do more than the treadmill, I need to do some strength training....and like Cari...I LOVE Richard Simmons Dancing with the Oldies...I have the complete set!!!

Cari, so happy to hear you are feeling better and not down in the dumps!! Yeah!!! And you can come over and clean any time you want...it is only about an 8 hour flight! lol

6 pm has come and gone....and no food after 6...so far so good!

    xoxo

    Hey all

Im ok. Foodwise, I have been pretty good. Ive had some chocolate but it was planned and within cals. Exercise wise Im up to 94g protein, could have been more but I chose to have chicken en croute so it took up a buncha cals. Bloody gorgeous though. This weekend the in laws are visiting so am already thinking ahead to being able to make the best choices I can as they usually take us out for lunch. And sunday is the planned pizza and cinema day but again I am gonna probably bulk out on salad to reduce the impact. Monday I am hitting it hard with trying to get back on my 40-30-30 split properly.

Exercise wise Ive done 4 days running now. I did battleropes tonight and boy did I feel it in every bit of my body. My left shin is particularly painful after my run yesterday but have managed to avoid pain killers by icing it so far. Wondering if a cpl days without a run might be in order though just in case

Lise, I'm amazed by your athleticism! I feel the same way about exercise--I LOVE a good workout, a good sweat. I love lying in bed at night with all my muscles in a state of fatigue after swimming for a few hours or doing an all day hike in the mountains.

    What is a battlerope?

Hi gang, I was going to try to post my goals today, but I'm feeling pretty foggy from a new nerve-blocking med, so instead I took photos of two of my goal worksheets. Hopefully they won't post sideways, lol!!!

Oh, hahaha... apparently I'm so stoned I forgot my Challenge goals today. I logged my swimming on MFP, put on my bathing suit, then promptly ate an entire box of skinny cow ice cream sandwiches and fell asleep on the couch!!! I'm still in my suit, but the Sun has set and the temp has dropped to 58, so I'm NOT getting in. I WILL log my food, then do a clean eating recipe search. oh--maybe do some bed yoga and stretching...yeah, I can do that!

How are you all today? Feeling energized or worn out? We only have 3 days left of this challenge, and I am happy to report I am nailing it except for today's excursion into a drug-induced binge. I know I'll pay for this later in the form of intestinal explosion. Karen...hellooooo...you cannot have that kind of food in your house....

Ok, off to yoga and stretch.

I've done well with food the past few days, some activity though not "exercise" Just extra moving going on throughout the day.

I rarely get a mommy lazy day, so I did that today. The kids are in daycare just 2 days a week so I took the day for myself. After a couple errands in town, it was just me, my coffee, and DVR! I did move around some clutter as well. Then right back to my lazy spot. It was nice but went by so quickly lol.

I weighed this morning and it said I lost. But I think it's a fluke, will reweigh in the morning.
