Weigh IN Sunday

You can either list your actual weight, how much it changed (hopefully for the better), and/or percentage. It's up to you so do whatever makes you comfortable. Feel free to post any other real wins for the week like NSV or whatever you feel like sharing.

My first official weighin under 220, barely, at 219.8, down 0.8 for the week. Nice but after all the calories I burned backpacking, I was really hoping for a big loss. But I did eat well so it all evens out I suppose. I'm not confident enough to claim that in turning in my 220# card just yet.

    Woohoo on the drop Debbie!

I left from Tenaya Lake and hiked towards Clouds Rest but took Forsyth trail and set up camp at the JMT junction. First full day, we did a loop around Clouds Rest. That was my first time on Clouds Rest and it's probably my favorite spot in the park right now! The views up there are amazing!!! Second full day, we went up Half Dome. That was my second time and it was both easier and harder in different ways. And the last day, we packed up our camp and headed back out to Tenaya. We hiked a total of somewhere between 40 and 50 miles, depending on how you interpret the GPS breadcrumb trail.

With my weight variability, I have reached a low of 216.6 although I'm back up a bit since then. I've been working out pretty hard this week, trying to keep the momentum of my hikes. This July 4th promises to be a lot of fun and many calories will be consumed and probably not much exertion, but at any rate, Happy Birthday America!

And here I am, conquering my fear of heights, on the diving board of Half Dome
