So I know this may be a bit of a controversial topic, but I've read so much re: keto lifestyle and a big one is only eat when you're hungry. I'm only on day 12, but my (bad food) cravings are gone and today I am barely hungry (though I do have a cough/cold which may be adding to the lack of appetite). I've only eaten 650 or so calories today, and I'm just not hungry anymore. Should I bite the bullet and eat another 400 cals before I go to bed, or does it not really matter?

    If you feel ill, then drink something and go to sleep! You will likely be hungrier in the morning, so you can eat the extra cals then. get well soon!

    Some days you might eat over your goal, some days you might eat less.... don't force yourself to eat if you're not hungry. Listen to your body, it will tell you what you need.

    Definitely agree with camtosh and bluefish. Eat as you are hungry and make sure you drink enough. You will have hungry days when you go over.

    Agree with everyone - you will surely have hungrier days to come and those will make up for less hungry days. Dont worry. Its highly unlikely you will feel full on 650 cals as a regular occurrence. You may find your appetite does reduce in general from when you were eating more carbs, but not that dramatically.

    I am barley ever hungry anymore since I switched to LC. I normally force myself to eat something but I cant always meet my calorie goal. To help me get there I put peanut butter in my protein shake some days

    I took your advice when I read it camtosh and went straight to bed!
