    Well, at least I got new running shoes yesterday. I'm plotting my comeback!

    Vacation has been great though. This will be all the time we will have together until I return again. My sis and bro and their families see each other a couple times during the year, along with my parents, but they have kids going to college now and time ALL together is dwindling. We are making the most of this week.

    Glad you're enjoying your family time Sherry. Almost all of my close family lives in the area so we see each other regularly. It would be hard to be so far away. Got to make the most of it when you do get together!

    Yesterday was a busy day at work but they let us leave early. I went shopping for a futon to replace my old couch and bought one at the 2nd store I went to, then went to Target, stopped to visit my parents, and went to the liquor store & the grocery store.

    Today work was closed for tomorrow's holiday and I was productive. Mowed the lawn, washed dishes, washed clothes & hung them on the line, and did my run/walk. I have a beef roast in the crockpot for dinner. The dumpster I rented was dropped off so I can start filling it. I went & bought work gloves this afternoon because one thing I need to get rid of is the sharp metal I cut my wrist on. I have the dumpster for a week so my plan is to spend some time each day hauling stuff out.

    I started day with a hilly walk, place we are staying has a steep driveway and road hilly. I went early because of heat. Then i did errands alone in Medford as hubby still has painful neck, he is going to specialist on monday.

    Because of Mike we will probably be home tomorrow but thats fine with me, it will be my first day of doing nothing in a long time. I am just crossing my fingers about fires, its so dry around here and hot.
