I decided to go keto May 30th and started that way of eating the 31st. On the induction (first 2 weeks) I only lost 6lbs so I was feeling a bit sad, as you would! But I have kept at it and over the weekend I dropped 8lbs...and the weekend is hardest as my husband is here (naturally thin! grrr!)
The reason I chose keto as MY way is that I am on a waiting list for the Duodenal Switch WLS and the diet they eat after IS keto...so I decided to see how far I could get just eating the way I would after my insides were done...and its magic. Now I am wondering how much the surgery would actually do....as people do regain with a DS if they eat carbs.
I still don't have a date for the operation, but I told myself if I could lose 30lbs by the time I got my date, I would forgo the op...well...I've lost the 30lbs...and still no date.
I feel like I have stumbled upon the secret to weight loss, FINALLY!
This post is pretty pointless, lol, but I just wanted to say YAY, I feel FREEEEEE!
