Weigh IN Sunday

You can either list your actual weight, how much it changed (hopefully for the better), and/or percentage. It's up to you so do whatever makes you comfortable. Feel free to post any other real wins for the week like NSV or whatever you feel like sharing.

I'm down 0.4 for week. Not bad considering all that I ate and drank during America's Birthday party.

Well hello again Debbie and Scott! :) I am finally back from my trip and ready to get back to my routine. I looked through the past couple weeks' WINS threads to get caught up and it sounds like you guys did pretty well all things considered and kept right on losing. Scott- those were *awesome* pics! I have a few (like hundreds - lol!) pics too ;) I'll try to pic a couple good ones and put them up. Debbie - don't sweat that one pound! As we all know, that could just be water and hopefully it'll come right back off.

I'm only down .2 from the last time I posted in our group - but at least I'm not up. We did alot of hiking, but I didn't 'officially' work out (like a Daily Burn or other workout) at all and I had ice cream just about every day - lol! I did try not to go nuts and I tried to pick 'healthier' options, but it's hard when you're eating at restaurants almost every day. Plus I had almost 6 full days of sitting 10+ hours in the car during the time I've been gone. So overall, I'm just glad I'm not up and ready to get back into the groove!

Scott great pictures I don't like heights either. I was asked this summer to hike clouds rest and was told it was a very easy hike. When I looked it up and was not an easy hike by looking at your pictures I am glad I didn't go.

That makes three of us that are scared of heights. Maybe it's more accurate to say I'm scared of edges - since I can ride in something enclosed, like a gondola, and the height doesn't affect me as badly. But if I walk to the edge of a high cliff - it's almost like I can feel it pulling at me. We went to the top of Rendezvous Mountain in Jackson Hole - elevation 10.4K+ - in a gondola and hiked around up there for about an hour and I couldn't believe some of the cliffs they said people jump from and ski down! They're nuts!!

Well - a little win is that I did my first lunch-time workout after my almost 3 week break yesterday. I was in the last two weeks of my CardioSculpt program on DB.com when I left, so it had started me over on week one. I thought it would be too easy, but figured I'd do it anyway since I hadn't worked out in a while. Let me tell you - I am sore today! Lol! I think it was the pushups and the weighted twisting lunges that got me.

Nothing changed for weight this week. Just cant get motivated to workout. I do gardening everyday. So I guess that is something.

Oh no - have we lost Scott now too? I hope not! I had a really busy weekend and was down with a migraine yesterday, or else I'd have logged in Sunday to post my weekly update. I hope everything is okay with him. He's usually much more active on here than he has been the past week! :(

No change is better than a gain Debbie! I have been dealing with motivation this week too. In an attempt to get myself more 'into the spirit', so to speak, I dragged a bunch of jeans and shorts I had stored in the way-back corner of my closet from years ago out to try on. These were from when I'd lost 40 lbs over 10 years ago - so not very fashionable any more, but good for helping one to visualize the goal! I tried them all on. Some I could get on - and zipped :) - but were still leaving just a little too much 'muffin top' for my comfort - lol! Some I could get on, but not zipped, BUT - if I keep the goal in focus and get down the remaining 14 lbs I want to lose - they should eventually fit. Do you have anything like that you could pull out a drawer or the closet? I hung a pair of the jeans that I'm hoping will fit, without causing muffin-top, within the next month on the front of my closet door to remind me what I'm working for... Maybe we should start a thread listing all the positive - non-scale related - benefits we've experienced since starting this journey and all the positive benefits we hope yet to achieve...

I was down 1 lb this week. I didn't do too well yesterday - ate too much 'bad' stuff (chips, swedish fishies, crap like that...) because I was hungry and my headache bugged me enough that I didn't feel up to all the usual chopping/slicing/dicing that goes on for the healthier eating, so I just grabbed crap that was there. So hopefully that doesn't mess with next week's measurement - but I'll put it behind me and try to get my workout in and focus on doing better today!

I understand about crap. I had some errands to run, then I was hungry and ended up at In and Out. I have to stop that. I have a skirt that I bought in a smaller size, good idea to bring it out.
