July 9th Goals

Morning all. I completed all my goals yesterday Lets see if I can do this again
Todays goals:
1. drink 8 glasses of water
2. Core workout
3. Stick with my preplanned meals

Yesterday's Goals:
1) Exercise at least 35 mins - Took it as a rest day! had a headache!
2) Walk – get as many steps in as possible -
3) Stay within calorie range -
4) Drink my water -
5) Prepare healthy meals & snacks -
Today's Goals:
1) Exercise at least 35 mins (run day)
2) Get as many steps in as possible
3) Stay within calorie range
4) Drink my water
5) Prepare healthy meals & snacks
6) Enjoy the quietness this evening

Yesterday's goals:
1) morning swim -- done
2) evening weights -- turned this into a run instead
3) pick up my bike (being tuned up/repaired) and my CSA veggies -- did this
4) try to stay within or close to calories despite work lunch at Italian place -- kind of did this
In fact what I did was decide that now that I've actually been complying with my planned workout schedule my calories were too low and increased them 100. I think this was sensible. I'll give it a month and then reassess.
Today's goals:
1) morning workout -- done
2) stay within my calories despite another work lunch
3) go to bed at a reasonable hour and try to get a decent night's sleep
The next few days are going to be challenging from a calorie perspective and I am aware that a HUGE part of why I've been letting myself go over calories so often is lack of sleep leading to lack of willpower, so while I want to continue focusing on my workout schedule I'm going to try to focus more on improving my sleep too. This is also needed to properly recover from workouts.0 -

I didn't have a challenge yesterday, can I still have one? (i'll assume I can and put it here, and if I shouldn't, please let me know and I'll remove)
today's challenge
to do the ab workout BEFORE i'm ready to sleep
reach 10,000 steps
do 1 hour cardio
keep my sugar and carbs in check
let's see how I do

Someone starts a thread usually everyday for people to post there daily goals. You are always welcome to post on any day or if no one has started one for that day feel free to create one. I find posting the small daily goals helps me hit my challenge goals and long term goals easier since its just baby steps.
