Today was a busy day. Work was slow, then ran long. Garbage collector finally picked up mine. Should have picked it up last Thursday. Stinky! Fed all the boys, and the fish. Then watered all the plants and had dinner. Then finally was able to take the boys to the park. I am exhausted, but all boys are wore out and happy. :) Restarted our workout for this week. Hope I did it right. To tired to think straight. Hope your first day back went good. :)

Thanks for setting this week up! It's perfect! My weekend was pretty fun too. My first day back went by really fast and the boss was on vacation, so it was doubly nice!!!!!!!!!!!

I got in 4.44 miles in 67 minutes, Slim in 6 (30 min version), Body Revolution, and one of our burpee challenges...not the 20 burpee challenge I see up there but one of the other burpee challenges with not so many burpees. We'll see how the muscle is doing tomorrow, I may just use my lightest weights. It's getting better especially since I didn't do anything but walk for about three days. Feeling recommitted today though!

In search of my pillow now.

Did one of our burpee challenges today, Slim in 6, Body Rev and walked 4.39 miles in 65 minutes. I picked up Bean after my walk this evening. The kids are staying out longer then they planned, so we get to keep him over night!! Then did my challenges...I'm really up late...still have to get my lunch together and get the coffee pot ready. I better get to it as my brain is telling me about the frozen yogurt in the freezer and the nuts int he cupboard.

Hope your Tuesday was a good one.

Yesterday was long and all I managed was a little gardening. Had to work late. Most likely will be more of the same tonight. :( I am hoping to be back to normal next week. I have been doing a few burpees when I get out of bed. But nothing close to our challenge. I have been using my lunch hour to sneak home and lock the boys in the house so Cooper does not run off. We have been getting afternoon showers and thunder. I sure hope we are able to find the rounded bricks we need for our project Friday. No one that was open on the weekend had them. :( Menards could order them. But it takes up to three weeks to get them!

Glad your arm is still improving. And nothing wrong with only having time for walking. You are a machine most of the time. Better than a Timex! :) I am wanting to feel that committed feeling again! Hopefully this weekend will not be so stressful. And that the trial we are in the middle of ends soon. Bean is so lucky to have two sets of parents. :)

Hey, my boss was gone after my being back for only about three days. I so know what you mean. Lol. Well I better get ready for work and feed all my babies. :)

Well the trial will still be going tomorrow. Hopefully the jury will have a verdict before 5:00. Only had time for half our challenge. Better than nothing though. Off to walk with hubby and the boys. :)

Took Wednesday as my REST DAY as it was Patrick's b'day and the kids came over and we had sandwiches and ice cream and 7-up cake and watched Justified and had a good evening. Last night I came home from work, changed into my walking clothes, had some left over ice cream and, at 7:00 p.m., said "I'm just going to lay down for a bit then I'll walk and exercise." I was drained. However, my "a bit" turned out to be ALL NIGHT!!! I didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning. So I guess you could say I took another REST DAY! bwahahah!

Hope your Thursday went fast and the trial is over. I'm off on a Summer Friday and have grand plans. Eat...walk...exercise...shower ...shop ...make soup...eat...That's it. I'll check in later.

May your Friday go swiftly and painlessly!

What a nice rest. With your schedule you really needed it. :) And icecream and cake. :) Wednesday ended up being quite an ordeal. Son in law, Kyle, was hit in the temple by a softball sliding into third base. He had two fractures and some bleeding on the head. His eye swelled shut and what a shiner! Hubby and I took care of the kids and him on and off. Rocky stayed with him until almost 1 am, they kept him over night. And I watched the kids until Rocky releived me. Caught a couple hours of sleep and then went into work. Finally was able to reach my daughter Sanara the next morning. She was on the mtn. do field research and had no service. She is now at home with them. :) He has to have constant care right now. I am laying sod with hubby tonight. We ran out two weekends ago and are finishing up tonight. So my workout will be sod laying. LOL

And cake sounds good. What is 7up cake? I am going to have cake tonight when we finish and then rest until I wake also. :P

    Have a great weekend.

I hope Kyle is doing okay. That was always a worry when the kids played sports. Sara's b'friend, Pete, plays rugby...ugh! and he is passionate about it. I can't watch him play. Brutal, brutal game. Makes me worry...

I think laying sod is a perfectly good exercise. Shoot it uses arms, legs, back, middle...you're gonna be sore tomorrow aren't you?

The 7-Up cake is a bundt cake that is pretty close to perfect! One of my co-worker's mother makes one that is heaven, but won't give up her recipe! Lucky's had them this past Wednesday. It's the first time I've seen them in the store. That's all I know. I should Google the recipe and see what I find.

Walked with Sara and Bean for an hour, did our 15 burpee challenge, other challenges, Slim in 6 and Body Revolution for 110 mins. Then I went to the store for soup and made two soups. One of them is a Stuffed Bell Pepper Soup...well, the rice I used was an Imperial Jasmine Blend that had purple and red jasmine rice in it, and it turned the soup purple!! It tastes fine, but it's purple!! I'll let you know if Patrick notices it. Now it's time for bed again!!

    Have a wonderful Saturday!

Rugby can be dangerous. Yep, don't watch. We are under a severe storm and tornado warning. Really messing up my plans! We were able to get the yard mowed and took it with the yard waste from last night's project to compost it. Also walked the boys for around 40 minutes this morning. Now Cooper is not moving from my lap! Oh well, at least he is with me. I even bought him one of those thunder coats. Moved all the plants inside the garage. Wish I had some of your cake. Can't do anything with a nervous little dog clinging to my lap. :p. Back to our 15 burpee challenge. Awesome going. :) Kyle is a teeny better today. Slow healing. Well Cooper is fidgeting, better go.

Stay safe. Hope everything is okay. I hope Kyle is better and that your daughter is okay.

Did our 15 burpee challenge again and my other challenges. Getting on the recumbent now. It's too dang hot outside at 8:30 p.m. to walk. It's supposed to rain tomorrow...go figure. A girl just doesn't know how to dress anymore...just sayin'.

We went to a couple of the farms in our area for fresh produce this morning. The kids went with us. It was fun! Now I need a bigger fridge! Went to Fry's and looked at plants. Think I know what I want. Still researching. Well, the bike is calling.

Plants, love them all. :) I love to go to our farmers market in late summer. So fun. So what did the girl wear? It is to hot to do anything more tonight. We did not change out the aquariums water today. Ran out of time.

    Night now.
