Starting diet and feel nauseous

I just started a low carb diet 5 days ago and I feel very nauseous. My husband thinks it is from my body adjusting to a new diet, but I think I am just getting sick. Is it typical to feel nauseous as you get into this diet?

Absolutely. Sounds like the notorious carb flu. Drink some bone broth or stock. You'll start feeling better soon :)

You have to significantly increase your sodium intake starting a low. Carb diet. You tend to lose a lot of water weight right from the start and dehydration has a ton of yucky symptoms. Salt, salt and more salt! Have some broth for a quick fix.

So crazy, but the sodium helped.

Awesome! Just keep salting food and have some broth and or pickles regularly and should be good to go.
If you end up having any leg/foot cramps, as I have had on occasion, salt will likely be the issue again.
Best of luck on your journey!
