What do you guys do when the nutritional information in a receipe doesn't match MFP?

I'm new to keto so most nights I'm plugging recipes from the cookbooks I've bought into the nutrition tracking on here. I'm really excited about the recipes from one of Dana Carpender's books, but I'm finding the nutritional information is really far off typically in calories and fat (hers are significantly higher) but match for carbs and fibre. Which do you trust? It's stressing me out more than it probably should be, but I really want to come close to my numbers and a lot of these recipes the difference is more than 20-30 grams of fat!

I have noticed that MFP occasionally changes the measurement(s) or even ingredients when importing a recipe. When MFP matches the ingredients, check very carefully that it pulled over the correct item and measurement. You can replace separate ingredients if need be.
If there is still a discrepancy, try a few other online calculators and see which one is closest. To avoid stress, I tell myself that using consistent numbers/measurements is maybe more important than accuracy when you log.0 -
Thanks. I think I've pinpointed it to bacon grease... seems like that's the consistent 'WOAH that's not even slightly close!!' trigger. Ground beef is leaving a big variance as well, but seems like bacon grease is the one that's leaving huge gaps.0

I set my calories in MFP back a couple hundred to allow for all these problems.
I hope this helps,

THIS! I always double check the ingredients, brands and amount and I usually have to correct several!0
