I decided this threadstarter could apply to things like eating well too, not just to getting in long workouts. Eating well is definitely 80% mental for me.
I went to the grocery store last night and picked up some foods for the new eating plan the dietitian recommended but was just too tired to start doing anything with it, so for today I'm still sticking with counting calories.
Marla I'm very interested in what you find out from the book, so please share any insights you get from it!
I ran last night but it was hot (by Minnesota standards anyway) and humid, so I was pretty miserable. Jason had me doing 6-7 intervals and I only did 6. Then I went to the gym and sat on the floor for a bit in the a/c trying to convince myself I didn't have heat stroke. We did a total body mix during my strength workout, and my gym manager did my core workout with me again so that was fun. When I got home I iced my leg, which has been annoyed with me the past couple days. It's still a little crabby today but much better than it was.

Hey all! Just checking in quick before I head out! Got most everything packed, just have to run to a few places to grab stuff and then I'm out of here!
Have a great week everyone!0 -
First day of hot again today, so we came downtown early and went for long walk and now having coffee and tea. I drink tea.
Last night got into emotional whirl again, realtor emailed new listing and it had a lot of things we liked, but was over priced so we would have to get small loan. Our goal is to have no mortgage since we are retired.
We were indecisive and went back and forth on going back today to look at it, of course every trip with at least 1 nts stay is over $300 with hotel, food and gas...
I finally decided to wait on this one to see if price can come down. I told her if its still there after we are settled in new place we will come then.
Just caused more marriage stuff...sigh.
Thread starter is right its mostly mental.
Laura so far its all about having 2 sides of your brain and the additive side is the animalistic one. She also believes that we don't need therapy and we aren't victims of a disease.
She is writing from personal experience years of bingeing and purging, doctors, nutritionists, drugs, nothing worked until she did her method...more to come....

Hi all! Well, up in MD now and for the first time since I got here I think...I logged my food (instead of just writing 4000 quick add calories)! It means I'm eating little enough and known-enough- foods to be able to log! This is a huge improvement from my stay down south! Meanwhile, I've felt terrible today. This strange chest thing is happening again, which it's usually worse around this time of month, plus the barometric pressure and rain doesn't help. Hoping for better tomorrow, both in how I'm feeling and weather.0
