I went over my calorie count last night and I was Still hungry! Then I began to panic that I wasn't going to be able to do this. But this morning I realized I had had a success; I didn't give in and eat till I made myself sick. I went to bed feeling hungry.0

Going to bed hungry is hard. I've been doing it for almost 6 weeks and sometimes I want food but I fight it. I've always read its very good to go to bed hungry when you're trying to lose weight.0 -
Last night I went to a bar for a goodbye celebration for a co-worker. Driving home at 1 in the morning, after a couple of drinks (I was fine to drive) and after being around people eating bar food all night, I made a poor choice and stopped at Burger King The victory is that when I got home I had a moment of clarity and threw it away before eating any of it! I didn't see that coming!
wow!!!! now that's willpower!!
I went out on my bike yesterday and was amazed how lose my leathers were0 -

Congrats! I've never done that. I've bought something "bad" on the way home from something and then thought about throwing it away thinking "I really shouldn't eat this and I acknowledge that I shouldn't eat it and I should throw it away in that trash can over there" and then I end up eating it anyway. Oh well, I guess I identify it at least - the next step is throwing it away and after that is not getting it in the first place.
Way to go!0 -

I came home sooo hungry and exhausted today that I ate dinner and took a nap. I kept putting off going to the gym when I woke up a couple times in between, and by the time I actually awoke, it was conveniently too late for the gym. I really didn't feel like working out( I was 210 cal over), and I figured I'd make it up later in the week, but I kept my goal for this challenge in mind which was to try and workout everyday even for just 20 minutes. So I got myself together and did a quick 20 minute workout at home! I feel pretty hood about getting that done. I am still 110 over, but it's only Monday, and I prelogged so I can make it up tomorrow.0

I love your gifs, where do you get these?0

...made a poor choice and stopped at Burger King...moment of clarity and threw it away
Now that is an NSV! Even in the face of temptation you made the choice to toss.
Mine is slowly being more comfortable in aggressive positions on my saddle. Not sure how many inches I'm losing, but it feels like my little gut is shrinking day by day.0 -
I'm loving all the NSVs! (Especially the one about throwing away BK food.) Keep 'em coming!
My newest NSV is running a mile in under 10 minutes today!!0 -

I can often find them doing Google image searches...just type in a word or idea or theme.

Pants that I couldn't sit in a month ago are fitting comfortably today0

I had a couple of bad days where I went way over my calories...and instead of letting that derail me for weeks or months like I have in the past, I got off my butt and "made up" those calories over the past couple days! I did a longer workout and felt satisfied on fewer calories than normal, so I just stopped eating for the day. I'm very proud...6 months ago, those couple of bad days might have been weeks of bad days.0

(((Yes))) I have been reading so many of your NSV posts, admiring your successes and just wishing I could have one myself. Today I have one! I was able to wear a shirt today that I have not been able to wear in months and it wasn't tight!0

Good things come to those who wait! Losing weight is one big waiting game. I'm glad you finally got your own NSV!

Ok, HUGE NSV today! I did my one-month measurements today. In the past 30 days, I have lost 2.5 inches from my waist, 1 inch from my lower abdomen, and 1.25 from my upper thigh (one of my biggest problem areas). Small losses in other areas, but the numbers are going down and I couldn't be happier! I am going out to dinner tonight with family and have a new outfit to wear. I think I might even post a full body shot when I get dressed.0

That's awesome! I really need to go home and take my measurements.0 -

If you ever find yourself at Burger king again, their Apple cranberry salad with grilled chicken is an excellent choice. They even have a lite raspberry vinaigrette that is excellent!0 -
Today at work, my supervisor asked if I have been losing weight and said that my face looks slimmer! Nice to know someone notices!0

Ok so first of all I haven't really been sleeping but 2 or 3 hrs at night and I was really grumpy this a.m. I had physical therapy this morning and we had a looong talk about my goals and my frustration. She said my recovery is going great but I am just not feeling it. So she started me on some new exercises (TRX suspension type) and took me outside to test out the knee.....ok so I admit this was a little scary (but I damn sure didn't tell her that!). We did about 21 minutes of walking and jogging intervals. I feel so good right now. Hope I can walk tomorrow! Ice and rest the rest of the day, maybe a nap.
Oh and CONGRATS to all of you who are noticing changes and having it be recognized!! Great job! ☺0 -
Today at work one of my coworkers noticed that I had lost weight. Made my day!0
