Connected Apps

It took half an hour, but I finally got MFP and mapmyfitness connected! So anyone else use that? Or have you found another you like? What apps do you find useful to connect with MFP?
I'm not a phone carrier, so pedometers don't work well for me tho hubby uses his faithfully and shoots for 10,000 steps a day. I take walks in the evening, but never logged them. Now I'll be able to.
Are there other apps that connect to MFP you'd recommend (free)?

Under Armour bought some companies recently, including MFP. They're the only ones that seem to play well together. The only one you're missing in Endomondo.
I use some on the web, some on my phone, and some on my smart watch.0 -

Isn't Endomondo the same thing as mapmyfitness? Looks like it does the same?0 -
Similar. I use MapMyRide for the bike, and MFP can import that. I just started using Endomondo for walking and running since both MFP and Google Fit can import from that one. Google Fit is my step counter because it has the best Android Watch interface, but MFP won't import from Google Fit.
It's all very messy for now. I'm sure they'll all play well together some day. But it depends on the activities you do most and which features you like. There are a bunch of them just for running, for example.0 -
I port map my ride
I tKe 25% of what MMR gives me as calorie burn and add that as Quick Add calories to correct the overly generous burn it gives0 -
I use map my fitness, though I should say,I have used it since I don't actually get much exercise lately.
I know you can use it for walking, running, riding a bike, and all kinds of other workouts too.
At one time I had several connected to see which I liked best, and I ended up with multiple reports of the same exercise showing up on here and it was difficult to sort out and figure out which was which so I deleted the others.0 -
If I am logging something like swimming, I'll use runtastic on the swimming setting. I use mapmyride connected to my jawbone(doesn't play nice with runtastic) for bike rides.0

I sometimes use Map my Walk as I like to see where I have been but most of the time I use my Fitbit, both seem to sync well with MFP.0
