I've been terrible this summer about setting and working on goals. I've been pondering the different areas that I've been struggling with recently. I've struggled with the sweets quit a bit. A lot of my goals are little more abstract so I've been trying to figure out how to make them mor measurable.
    Goals:
    1. Get at least 7 hours of sleep every night! Reward is being rested!

Great pics! I just joined a fb group on emotional eating for month of August. Other coping skills is my goal.

So I see even all my goals never made it on here. Lol.
    My goals this month are:
    1. Get at least 7 hours of sleep every night! Well...not every night this week but most of the nights. Considering it was the first week of school, I'm pretty proud of the fact that there was only one night I've not gotten enough sleep!

    2. Get all my workouts in! Reward: one special splurge buy. This week I missed a run on Wednesday and I'll probably miss my strength training tonight as a bunch of people are coming over. But last week I got them all and bought myself a road ID for my Fitbit!

    3. No sweet snacks or desserts except once a week. Reward: once a week getting to eat a very special desert. Successful the first week. The second week not so much as we went out and got dessert and I made cookies for hubby. The positive: the cake was something five of us and three kids split so it was only a little sliver. Just enough to enjoy but not over indulge, and my cookies I didn't actually eat. I just scraped the bowl and licked the spoon. So again, just a quick taste.

I've been horrible with setting goals too, and it's already mid-month this month.

I'm starting my new workout schedule this week and I'm still getting the hang of my new eating plan, so for the rest of August I'm going to focus on settling into those. By September I should be ready to set some specific goals to work on.
