    Hope everyone is having a great week! I'm finally getting into a good routine! It feels awesome! School starts next Monday, and we have meet the teacher night this Thursday.

    I'm going for a run this morning. I'm following my marathon training plan and it has me starting with 4 miles. We shall see.

    ...and it only posted part of what I wrote. Huh. I'm trying out doing all this through the app instead of the actual website. Of course, the website has done this to me before as well.

    Basically, I mentioned it's been a while since I've had a good run in. Also something about grocery shopping so I have actual food to cook tonight. Oh, and I'm going out to eat with my church staff for lunch so hoping I can make some decent food choices!

    Let's see if this posts everything this time!

    Hope your run goes well Val! Four miles feels so long to me right now. Funny how perspectives change after an illness or injury. How was your crockpot soup? I wish I liked soup more. There are maybe 3 or 4 times a year I crave soup, but otherwise I just can't get excited about it.

    Sorry to hear you're having such a struggle with the smoke Marla. Using that as an opportunity to catch up on your reading seems like a great idea. Sometimes we just need a mental break as well as a physical break. I wish your husband hadn't kept waking you up - if you're snoring from being overly tired then you especially needed the sleep.

    I finally got a decent night's sleep last night for the first time in a few weeks. My new Garmin ranks my depth of sleep. Last night I got 6:11 of deep sleep, 1:51 of light sleep & was awake for 8 minutes. In comparison Friday night I got 2:48 of deep sleep, 4:51 of light sleep & was awake for 16 minutes.

    I'm switching up my workout schedule a bit this week. Since Jason took some time off at the end of the week we moved up 2 of my 3 sessions with him. I typically see Jason at 6:00 pm two days a week but tonight I'm not seeing him until 7:00 so I switched my run to tonight to give me a little more time. I'm not running with my Wednesday night group this week so I could switch my run to Tuesday & Thursday. My doctor doesn't want me running two days in a row so I typically plan my week in advance to get my 3 runs in with rest days in between. I had been running 6 intervals of 3:00 (with 1:30 rest breaks). Jason then bumped me to 7 of 3:00 / 1:00, and my leg didn't like it, so I went back to 6 of 3:00/1:30 for a couple of runs. My last couple runs went well so tonight I'm trying 4 intervals of 5:00 / 2:00.

    To be honest my marriage is holding on by a thread through all this, my patience has gone out the window from stress and lack of sleep and we are fighting a lot. He was so upset this morning about how we have got he practically said he wanted to split up.

    We made up later and talked things out but I feel sad, depressed and weak. I am normally a pretty positive person but hanging on end of mental rope.

    By a miracle wind changed and blew bad air out and air quality in the green today so went for walk to river nearby.

    Going to do laundry and check out new bike seat. We brought our bikes with us but havent used yet because of heat and smoke. Guy we are renting from told us of a good bike path not far away in park on river.
