Hey everyone. I thought it'd be helpful to post some recipes we've tried or plan to try. I'll go first (this is making me hungry!). I plan to make these in the morning

I'm glad someone started this thread! I was craving chocolate today and decided to try this recipe for a Keto Mexican Chocolate Shake. YUM! It's a little spicy due to the cayenne, so you could adjust that if you wanted to. I also added a few drops of stevia to mine to make it just a tad sweeter. http://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2014/07/10/Keto-Mexican-Chocolate-Shake0

My fave snack or go-to if I feel like I might want a dessert but not quite is:
- tiny pinch o stevia
- 4 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
(the only thing I care about in this snack is that the cream cheese ratio to peanut butter is 2:1)
easy to make, nearly no prep and I can eat it for days!0 -
These little "mug cakes" are great for breakfast or as a side dish! So many varieties.

Would anyone be offended if I started a separate thread for non-dairy recipes? I have an allergy boooooooooo
I can have goat butter and cheeses, but no cow products.0 -

So today is day 1 for my husband and I on Keto. It's definitely going to be an experience with trial and error. I had a headache for most of the day and I could probably eat everything in sight. I'm sure it'll get easier. Here are some good websites: www.whatsonparkersplate.com, www.wholenewmom.com, and www.cavemanketo.com.0

OK, here's my "mini chocolate mousse"...I make this after dinner and stick into the fridge to have around 8PM.
2 T. Native Forest organic coconut cream ( 60 Cals., 6g Fat, 1 Carb.)
1 T. Coconut oil ( 120 Cals., 14g Fat, 0 Carb.)
2 tsp. baking cocoa powder ( 7 Cals., 0.3g Fat, 0 Net Carb.)
1/8 tsp Vanilla
pinch Sea salt
Stevia to taste ( I like Hazelnut!)
Place the oil and coconut cream into a small ramekin, heat for 30 secs on 1/2 power in your microwave. Add remaining ingredients and stir well to mix, taste...then place in refrigerator for at least 30 mins. Remove from fridge, get cozy and enjoy this small but rich and yummy, chocolaty goodness! I'm going to right now!
Let me know if you try it out, or how you tweak this recipe. :-)0 -

I make something similar but love lemon so I typically add a little juice and zest and use ghee as well to add some fat and flavor. Yum
