So,

Question 1 - In short... I got attacked fro behind on Friday night, some damage to my Jaw, Recovering by the day, but eating solid food is a fair bit of a challenge. Has anyone got any tips on how to make up calories in the mean time?

So far - Protein shakes - Protein, Pure fine Oats, Psyllium husks (Fiber Supp). Peanut Butter and Eggs for Fats... Soggy Cereal for Carbs\extra Fiber....

I've failed to manage Porridge, and a few meats.. I think part of the trick is to eat Very small, and Very often..

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any other foods in the mean time...

Finally Second Question...... I have Nationals in 8 weeks, but I tore a Callus.. Any tips to recover that ASAP would be great!

FYI, I am reserving the right to strangle anyone who says "You need to improve your grip\Take care of callouses better" Unless you got a time machine, WHY!?!!? lol!!!

I've used this to great effect before: http://www.haskestrength.com/2009/12/fixing-ripped-calluses.html

8 weeks should be plenty of time. A week or two tops is all you need if you treat it right and you don't let it get infected. Even a little infection will double or triple the repair time.

As for the liquid diet, use this opportunity to slug down endless Dairy Queen shakes. YUM
