Not new to MFP but new to the lower carb life. I have pcos and insulin resistance. It was recommended that I try to lower the carbs to under 85 a day since just CICO wasn't cutting it. So far, so good and I feel so much better! I am hoping to get support and help support you all.

    Hi. For weight loss, some have to go to 25 grams carbs/day. Welcome.

    Welcome, there are many here with at least one if not both of those conditions or other medical conditions. You'll find your sweet spot for carbs. For some it's 0, for other 100 and everywhere in between. Feel free to poke around the launchpad(highly recommended) and some people have open diaries.

    Welcome. I'm pretty new too and also have IR. Going ketogenic has worked wonders for me. I'm glad you are feeling better already. :)
